Today I had a beautiful shower hosted by Lauri~ everything was perfect, right down to the cookie cake! It was so fun to get together with everyone for a relaxing afternoon and celebrate Caitlin's upcoming arrival. Seeing her name monogrammed on blankets, hooded towels, tote bags and chair covers (thanks Carmen!) :) made it finally seem real that we're about to be a family of four. I really loved the gorgeous book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, that everyone signed- it will be so fun to read everyone's message to Caitlin and I'm sure the book will become a treasure for years to come.
Everyone was so generous, we have everything that we need except for the baby! I'm looking forward to organizing and putting away everything in Caitlin's nursery. I can't wait for Caitlin to meet all of her sweet aunts!
