One of the things I was determined to do once Jason went back to work was to get out of the house with the girls as much as possible. On my first trip flying solo, we met Kim and Emmie at the East Cobb Park. Kim was so patient- we were 30 minutes late!! It was supposed to be overcast and cooler that day, but of course the sun came out- it was a scorcher. We only stayed long enough to let the girls play for an hour and to eat lunch at the picnic table. Then we headed to chick-fil-a to cool off with ice cream and to play on the indoor playground. Emmie and Ava played so well together- I loved watching them run after one another.
