On Saturday, we went over to play in Echo Mill's pool with the Malcoms. Ava and Isa always have a fun time together and Caitlin loves to chase after them! Echo Mill has these fun water fountains and a water slide that the girls loved playing in even more than the pool.
It was all fun and games until Caitlin slipped and fell and scraped her knees on the concrete :( you can see her bright red knees in this picture- she recovered quickly and was up and running again in no time. I guess there is no better healer than thinking that you are going to miss out on the fun!
Of course, the girls discovered how fun it was to fill up the backs of their bathing suits with water. It was pretty funny watching them toddle around with huge swollen backsides!
The water slide was a huge hit- I wish we had one at our pool! I can't count how many times Ava went down this one... at the end of the afternoon, she got brave and went face first and then on her back- White Water here we come!
Daddy is their favorite pool toy! :)
Bode decided that he had had enough of all the girls and went to sleep. He spent most of the afternoon napping- the concrete must be more comfortable than we thought!
Nothing says summer more than BBQ ribs and sweet silver corn on the cob! Yummy!
